BCM Prayer Walking

Some quick facts about BCM Prayer Walking:

1. What is it?

            It is a two-fold program:

                        A) A time of praying for our campus: students,

                       faculty, and staff.

                         B) A time of walking laps around our campus.

The walking is good for our “Bodies” and the praying is good for our “Soul”. One lap around the main building is about 1/4 mi.

            2. When do I walk and how many laps?

You pick the time, and how many laps is right for you. As you begin walking you will in time be able to add laps as you get used to the walking. You may want to ask a friend to walk and pray with you. Just be sure to wear a good pair of walking shoes so that you wan’t make your feet sore.

            3. How will I know what to pray for?

BCM has a card with a simple prayer guideline to follow. You may know of a prayer need of a friend, so you can add it to your prayer time. Your prayers should be keep private, this is not a time for fellowshipping with a friend, it is a time for fellowshipping with God.

            4. How do I get started?

By just asking your, Joella Huddleston or Cecilia Baker for a sign-up card. We are on campus on Thursday for our BCM Noonday Lunch Meeting, or you may call (501) 940-5414 or e-mail: jhuddleston@absc.org. It does not cost anything but a little of your time to walk around the campus.
